Lukas Corwin Perry

Queerness is a transitional state of being. It is neither defined by time or place and yet is bound by both. 

My small-scale forms reference the body and bend the line between abstract and figurative forms as if they are dolls playing out singular moments in queer life. In varying shades of glossy pinks, the sleek forms sit in pairs atop transparent, fabricated pedestals, claiming space and time for formative instances that have passed and allowing mere seconds to exist indefinitely.
